Fall in Love with Umi Autumn 2013 Styles

If you are looking for a shoe brand that is durable for your daughter, but made with quality and cute style too, Umi is the right fit for you!  We had the opportunity to outfit Leah with the "Cassie" mary jane shoe in cherry this fall, and the deep red glossy patented color is divine and sweetly matches so many fall clothing items.  One of the best attributes of the "Cassie" style is the ease of which they can be put on and taken off, the velcro strap is a cinch, and the buckle is merely stitched on for looks (without all the hassle).  It's also wonderful to have a shoe that is a solid color, it provides ease when matching outfits, the "Cassie" is available in white, black, navy, silver and a few other solid colored options.  This is a great shoe to pair with uniforms, special occasions and standard everyday jeans and a blouse.   Upon first putting these on, they were quite sturdy and stiff, but after a few outings, they've molded to Leah's feet nicely and have become one of her shoes of choice.  These shoes may very well become an all-time Umi favorite of ours, and we're so happy to discover their everyday durability and simple style!  It's also worth mentioning that Umi only uses non-toxic drum-dyed leathers and other environmentally friendly components, and yet they are long-lasting and each shoe's color is reliable.

The new fall 2013 Umi colors for little ladies are superb, we are in love their dark browns, blacks and silver, but also the deeper shades of neon colors that really "pop"!  We were also able to have Charlotte fitted with some awesome Umi shoes this fall, and for her the brown Laraa was perfect! These sweet shoes are absolutely perfect for all the outdoor playtime that comes with autumn. The Laraa is adorned with beautiful flowers and sturdy stitching that is made to last. This mary jane style shoe was super comfortable right out of the box with no complaints whatsoever. The Laraa comes equipped with a large velcro strap for quick on & off as well as a remarkably cushiony footbed. Charlotte just loves these fun & flowery shoes! One more thing to note about the Laraa style is that although the flowers look as if they are an appliqued design, they are actually printed on and then embellished with real stitching around the edges and throughout the "vines". This is pretty smart considering it eliminates any potential frayed edges of a damaged flower and really increases the durability and longevity of the shoe.  Umi shoes just ooze quality. Never a stitch out of place, comfortable padding, and a fabulous grippy outsole that can handle any child. We love all stages of the Umi shoe line, and we know you will too!

The boys styles are versatile and adorable as well. Whether you prefer a classic or sportier look, Umi has you covered! This season there are plenty of cool shoes for boys. There are many other options available, including some dress shoes, boots, sporty sneakers and more. Our favorite for toddler boys is the Braden. Absolutely handsome, timeless and cool.
